STROKESTOWN will be the place to be from 1st – 7th July for the 2024 Connacht Fleadh and promises to be a week full of music, song, dance, culture and heritage.

We’ve got a fantastic lineup featuring Téada with Niamh Farrell and Gatehouse in Concert. The Blackwater Céilí Band, Ruaile Buaile, The Donoghue Brothers and many more traditional musicians playing on the outdoor “Gig Rig” on Saturday and Sunday.

During the week, we are proud to unveil our inaugural “Community Fleadh” in Strokestown. A lively gathering that will unite local groups & individuals to celebrate and share their culture, talent, & traditions which such events as, Singing Sessions, Historical talks, Parkrun, GAA tournament, Junior Golf, Sean Nos Dancing, County trad Sessions and much more.

On Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of musicians, dancers and singers will participate in competitions, with a view to booking a qualification for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, which will take place in Wexford in August.
